Well I love and enjoy making guitar covers. I read somewhere that Kirk was asked by the producer during the MOP recording sessions to do one last solo and he had to be at the airport in an hour then he came up with this within that time. It sure sounds improvised and it’s really short but even then he was able to add interesting things and make it memorable even more than most of his later work with Metallica. I’m using a rectifier with a Marshall cab and boosted the hell out of the top end looking for that Hypocrisy late 90’s guitar tone. Sounds awful by itself with in a record sits so good for that style. Btw I was just playing random stuff I think some of it sounded cool other things not so cool haha #espguitars
